La mostra contadina...dei giovani lentellesi
È a quota cinque edizioni la mostra contadina che i giovani ragazzi lentellesi dell’ AGL mettono su durante le feste dei Santi Cosma e Damiano il 26-27 e 28 settembre. Si è partito da un piccolo locale per le prime edizioni fino ad arrivare ad aprire le cantine, ormai tutte abbandonate, nel centro storico di Lentella vicino la chiesa, ogni anno cambiando qualcosa, aggiungendo o togliendo oggetti, con più o meno cantine a disposizione e con la voglia di fare che resta costante in alcuni mentre svanisce in molti ragazzi. Nel percorso proposto vi erano 6 cantine ognuna rappresentante una scena di vita di quando queste erano abitate e vissute circa 40-50 anni fa.
La prima cantina era quella della camera da letto con i corredi, i bauli, le lenzuola e i vari oggetti che si potevano trovare allora. Una riproduzione molto fedele perché in quella camera ci dormivano veramente infatti l’unico oggetto rimasto lì negli anni era proprio un antico letto, ma ci mangiavano anche perché c’era un enorme camino con tanto di forno. Nella seconda cantina, a pochi passi dalla prima c’erano tutti gli oggetti che servivano per fare la raccolta del grano, per seminare i terreni: falci, aratri, rastrelli e sacchi dove veniva riposto il raccolto. Nella terza,dedicata al terreno e agli animali si trovavano ferri per mettere sotto gli zoccoli degli asini, le forbici per tosare le pecore, i gioghi che si mettevano alle vacche a cui si attaccava l’aratro e una sella per gli asini. Nella quarta è stata rappresentata la vendemmia a la raccolta delle olive e con tutti gli oggetti che servivano per fare il vino e l’olio. Nella quinta è stata riproposta una cucina: piatti, bicchieri, pentole e una piccola degustazione di formaggio pecorino con il miele e dolci tipici. L’ultima era una macelleria dove si facevano le porchette, di cui Lentella era ed è molto rinomata, proponendo assaggi di porchetta, scrippelle e vino cotto.
Si sono contate circa 400 presenze tutte molto prese nel rivedere le “cose di una volta”, di ritornare indietro con i ricordi insieme a bambini curiosi di sapere a che servivano quegli oggetti, trasmettendo al loro passaggio tanto entusiasmo da spronare questi ragazzi ad andare avanti e a fare meglio senza arrendersi alle difficoltà che puntualmente si presentano. L’idea di fare un itinerario lungo quelle viuzze ormai deserte mette in luce la voglia dell’AGL di non abbandonare quella parte di paese che non è di passaggio, che una volta era molto popolata e che ora viene apprezzata solo dai turisti che vengono in vacanza, e per portare un po’ di scompiglio e di vita a quelle poche persone che ci abitano.

It started with a small venue for the first editions to open up to the cellars, all now abandoned, in the center of Lentella near the church, every year something changing, adding or removing objects, with more or less available and cellars with the desire to do that remains constant vanishes in some while in many children. In the proposed route, there were 6 wineries each representing a stage of life when they were settled and lived about 40-50 years ago.
The first winery was one of the bedroom with kits or trunks, the sheets and the various objects that could be found then. A very faithful reproduction because in that room we slept really because the only object left there over the years was just an old bed, but we also ate because there was a huge fireplace with a lot of oven. In the second cellar, a few steps from the first had all the objects that were used to make the harvest of wheat, to sow the land: sickles, plows, rakes and bags where the crop was stored. In the third, dedicated to the land and the animals were put in irons for the hooves of donkeys, the scissors to shear the sheep, the yokes that you put the cows to which was attached a plow and a saddle for donkeys. The fourth was represented at the gathering the harvest of the olives and all the objects that were used to make wine and oil. In the fifth, was revived in a kitchen: dishes, glasses, pots and a small tasting of pecorino cheese with honey and sweets. The last was a butcher shop where they made the piglet, which was Lentella and is very popular, offering samples of pork, scrippelle and mulled wine.
We have counted about 400 participants all very taken in reviewing the "things of the past", to go back with memories with children eager to know what those objects were used, by passing on their way to inspire much enthusiasm these guys to go ahead and do better without surrendering to the difficulties that regularly occur. The idea of a route along the now deserted streets highlights the desire of the AGL not to abandon that part of the country is passing through, which was once heavily populated and only now being appreciated by tourists who come to holiday, and to bring some 'turmoil and life to those few people who live there.
